Content Marketing Specialist

The Content Marketing Specialist at InvestorKit is a vital role that blends creative content development with strategic funnel management to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Reporting to the Marketing manager, this role is ideal for a skilled storyteller who is passionate about data-driven marketing and creating seamless customer journeys. You will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of content across multiple channels, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable results.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a multi-channel content strategy that aligns with InvestorKit goals and brand voice, covering organic social media, email, paid ads, website/Landing Page content, Internal company assets and PR.Create SEO-friendly, compelling content across all channels, from organic social posts and email marketing to ad copy and website pages, ensuring consistent messaging and maximising audience engagement.Collaborate with the tech, sales and greater marketing teams to map customer journeys, identify touch-points, and optimise content at every stage of the funnel using A/B testing frameworks.Partner with the analytics team to continually refine and adjust content based on performance data, enhancing conversion rates and customer satisfaction throughout the funnel.Campaign Development & CopywritingDevelop impactful, conversion-focused copy for paid ad campaigns, video scripts, and promotional emails, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with brand goals.Ideate, script, and oversee video content creation for both organic and paid channels, driving awareness and engagement through storytelling.Support marketing campaigns and sales conversion with persuasive copy for press releases, nurturing emails, and other customer communication across the business, enhancing visibility and building brand credibility.Collaborate closely with the Research division to review reports and white papers, and translate into impactful marketing content with a strong call to action, designed to engage our audience and drive leads.Analytics & ReportingWork with the Media Buying & Analytics Specialist to track content performance and provide insights on key metrics (e.g., engagement, conversion rates, customer feedback) to inform content strategy adjustments.Work with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure campaigns and individual content pieces are effectively managed and delivered in a timely manner without inaccuracies.Stay updated on content marketing trends and best practices, utilising insights to improve strategies and align with emerging industry standards.Collaboration & Cross-Functional EngagementCollaborate with the marketing, tech, and analytics teams to ensure content aligns with company goals and supports customer acquisition and retention strategies.Engage with external partners and consultants, when necessary, to optimise content performance and leverage industry insights.Communicate effectively with senior management to ensure alignment on campaign objectives and strategic marketing initiatives.Professional DevelopmentSet aside time for ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest in content marketing and funnel optimisation trends.Engage in industry webinars, workshops, and certification courses as needed to enhance skills relevant to content strategy, funnel management, and data-driven marketing.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Content Engagement: Achieve a minimum open rate of x%, and click through rate of x% across email marketing. Increased followers on key platforms by x% quarterly. Achieve engagement rates across organic and paid channels, with measurable improvements in audience interaction and brand visibility.
**Due to this being a newly created role targets are not yet established across key areas of the business. However each quarter, all of the key areas of the business will be reviewed for targets to be established and changed for the quarter ahead. They will range across areas such as, but not limited to: Campaign = speed and accuracy of launch, CPL-CPA-ROI-Days from Lead to sign up-Lead to show % and more. Channel Growth = subscribers, downloads, impressions/views, rankings and more.Conversion Rate Optimisation: Achieve a x% conversion rates on landing pages and an average of x leads per month through paid ads through A/B testing and data-driven adjustments through collaboration with others in the marketing division.Content Production Efficiency: Meet project deadlines for content production and funnel launches, ensuring timely delivery and content accuracy for campaigns and consistent content updates.Funnel Performance: Increase conversion at each funnel stage by optimising customer touch-points and implementing targeted content improvements.Insights Delivery: Provide actionable insights from content performance metrics to guide the team in making informed, data-backed adjustments.Qualifications and SkillsExperience: 3+ years in content marketing, direct response copywriting, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing content creation and funnel optimisation.Technical Skills:Proficiency in SEO, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and A/B testing frameworks.Familiarity with digital advertising platforms like Google Ads and Meta, with experience in optimising ad copy for conversions.Analytical Mindset: Skilled in analysing content performance data and applying insights to refine content strategies.Communication Skills: Clear, effective communication skills, with the ability to convey insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.Growth-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to optimise content and campaigns for growth, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
