You might think you know a lot about Bupa.
You'll know we provide health insurance and aged care services across Australia and you've probably also seen our dental and optical clinics in your local shopping centres.
But what you might not realise is that we also deliver health assessments on behalf of the Australian Government via Bupa Medical Visa Services, for people who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia.
As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we're growing our network of Visa Medical Assessment Centres so we can provide a Bupa experience for our visa applicants in the communities where they live.

About the role: Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.
Details of the role include: A casual Pathology Collector to join our team
Availability required across Mondays to Sundays, we can offer minimum of 4 hours to 7.6 hours per shift.
Experienced with paediatric bleeding (2+ years old) will be highly regarded.
Working across a rotational roster between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday & weekends from 8-4pm (great weekend penalty rates apply)
The role includes: Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record Your background: Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory) Must have a current Working with Children's Check, or be willing to obtain one Phlebotomy experience essential Experience working with people of multi-cultural background Excellent customer service skills Be at the heart of it with Bupa: This isn't your average Pathology Collector position.
