Randstad is partnering with a well-established provider of residential aged care, committed to delivering high-quality care and support to over 600 residents across their facilities in Brisbane and the Redlands.

About the role
As a Roster Officer, you will work closely with the Rosters team, reporting to the Roster Supervisor, and be responsible for supporting the preparation of master and working rosters.
The role requires a combination of excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
You will also interact regularly with staff and management, providing high-quality customer service and accurate advice on staffing and scheduling matters.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and maintaining rosters, ensuring compliance with Awards, budgets and staffing requirements.
Monitor and manage attendance, absenteeism, and unavailability within the working rosters.
Ensure compliance with workforce competences, qualifications, and workplace conditions as per employee contracts and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
Coordinate workforce training and development scheduling.
Support HR and Finance teams, particularly with payroll-related tasks.
Assist with reporting, analysis, and insights into workforce trends.
Help develop and maintain relevant policies, procedures, and documentation.
Reconcile variances between rosters, timesheets, and payroll.
What are we looking for?

Current National Police Certificate.
Previous experience in scheduling or rostering, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector.
A positive, team-based attitude with the ability to work independently.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
High computer literacy and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement in sensitive situations.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Business or similar).
