Full-time & Part-time/Casual Jobs Available We are recruiting for the position of Disability Support Worker Level 2 with Care For Family.
In this role, the ideal candidate will have sufficient experience and/or qualifications to operate successfully as a Level 2 Disability Support Worker.
Above all else, we hope to recruit support workers with a passion for providing expert and compassionate care to our valued clients living with a disability.
Job Description In your role as Disability Support Worker Level 2, you will provide care, under the guidance of a supervisor, to our clients.
These valued clients are living with a disability that means they require some extra support to remain living at home independently, or in their chosen care facility.
Your duties may include assisting with personal hygiene, showering, and toileting, mobility support, food preparation, housework tasks, and transport for your clients.
Duties Assisting in personal activities Daily tasks Socialising and engaging with client Help empower and encourage clients to improve their quality of life Helping clients apply for jobs, disability grants and housing loans Good team working skills Good leadership skills Strong organisation and time management skills Essential Qualifications Certificate 2 in Disability Support Work Desirable Skills & Qualifications Strong communication Good writing Good team working Good leadership Strong organisation and time management Location Sydney Eastern Suburbs Northern Beaches Inner West Greater Sydney area 2-24 hours/day Part-time, casual or full-time hours Salary / Pay We generally offer higher rates of pay than all other care providers in and around Sydney Application Process Application Form: Complete our application form and we will inform you of your eligibility for an interview.
