With new mines, new equipment and a new energy across our business, there's never been a better time to join Westgold.THE WESTGOLD OFFER8 days on, 6 days off roster, fly in and out on company timeCamp with ensuite rooms, sports courts and an equipped gymA company that is growing and supports employee's developmentA RANGE OF BENEFITS INCLUDINGPerformance based bonusSite Allowance (if applicable)Group Salary Continuance InsuranceA Health and Wellbeing allowanceAccess to discounted health insuranceA range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoptionReferral Bonus - bring your mates along5 years' pro rata long service leaveSalary sacrifice options - novated leases, FIFO airport parking and othersEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) that include free confidential counselling, wellbeing services that includes financial advice.THE ROLEEnsure routine inspections and preventative measures of the processing plant, including but not limited to ball mills, crushers, screens, conveyors, and pumps are carried outFault-finding, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mechanical components to process equipment such as lube systems, gearboxes, centrifugal pumpsActively manage maintenance planning activities and the Maintenance teamContribute to the development of the weekly plan by providing timely and accurate information to the Processing Manager and the General Manager on the status of key projects and day to day activitiesMaintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)Play a key role as part of the leadership team in the implementation of a positive, safe, and productive culture in the workplaceProvide mentoring and leadership to your teamActively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by exampleLiaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as requiredWHAT DO I NEEDMinimum of 5+ years' experience within a gold processing plantExperience in Sag/Ball Mill OperationsMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar role effectively leading and managing a small Maintenance teamShut down planning and managing experienceSound working knowledge of processing plants - crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, tailings and reagent circuits; and associated infrastructureHave a comprehensive understanding of maintenance practices and procedures, with the ability to enforce themExperience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)Proficient Microsoft office skillsProven leadership skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasksSolid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your teamA can-do, team-oriented attitudeDesire to maintain a proactive safe working environmentCandidates must meet our pre-employment criteria which includes medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks and be able to provide a valid Australian national police clearance (or be able to obtain).Westgold is driven by our core values of Show Respect, Choose Safety and Deliver Value.
