UGL Defence has recently commenced an Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels network.
We are recruiting a Project Engineer to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
The Role
The Project Engineer, reporting into the Projects Portfolio Manager, will be based in our Defence Hub in North Sydney.
You will be joining as UGL embarks on their first projects in the Defence Fuel Network, with a promising pipeline of future works.
Support with the bidding, winning and execution of project works in the Defence Fuels scope of works Work collaboratively with Asset Management and Engineering teams to identify projects through the selection criteria Develop and implement project portfolio strategies and identify opportunities to streamline project processes Maintain and strengthen relationships as the point of contact for key clients Coordinate with and manage internal and external resources to deliver on project scope of works What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (engineering, project management) Proven experience working in the Oil & Gas, Water & Mining, Power Generation Proven ability to manage fuel related projects in a complex and dynamic environment Exceptional communication skills with ability to effectively present complex information to stakeholders Flexibility to travel to various sites across the network (regionally and nationally) Current holder, or ability to obtain appropriate defence security clearance UGL – Big projects.
