Full time Provum Ventures is a forward-thinking group that delivers expert support services to three brands which operate in the aged care, disability services, and allied health and fitness sectors.
With a strong focus on operational efficiency and sustainable growth, we partner with our service delivery brands to provide strategic financial guidance that drives business success.
We are now seeking a Head of Finance to lead the Group's financial operations and contribute to its continued success.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will work directly with the owners and founders, influencing key business decisions and ensuring the financial stability of our growing enterprise.
Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans to guide business decisions and ensure sustainable growth.Oversee the timely preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Manage liquidity and working capital, ensuring optimal cash flow and reducing interest costs while meeting business requirements.Ensure full adherence to financial regulations, managing both internal and external audits to guarantee compliance and mitigate risk.Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the protection of the Group's assets and financial health.Provide strategic advice on investment opportunities, optimizing returns and supporting business growth.Work with the leadership team to drive cost-efficiency initiatives to improve profitability while maintaining operational quality.Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.Communicate financial performance and strategic insights to the Board and Owners, providing actionable recommendations.Establish and maintain robust financial governance, ensuring adherence to best practices and internal controls.Manage a team of finance professionals providing guidance, development, and support to deliver high-quality performance.About You: CA or CPA qualification (essential).Demonstrated senior finance experience with proven leadership in managing both local and offshore teams.Strong experience in tax advisory services, including corporate tax, GST, and other business taxes.Experience in a public accounting firm or a similar environment is highly desirable.Proven leadership ability to provide clear direction, set high standards, and delegate work appropriately and fairly, with an ability to foster a collaborative, respectful working environment across the team and broader group.Strong communication skills, able to present complex financial data and reports clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.Proficient in financial systems and technology to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.Ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the business, with a proactive approach to resolving challenges and seizing opportunities.Strategic thinking capability to develop actionable business concepts based on financial data.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.A results-driven leader focused on achieving goals and meeting stakeholder expectations.Strong business acumen and the ability to identify commercial opportunities for growth.What We Offer: Join the leadership team, directly shaping the strategic direction of Provum Ventures and its associated brands.Locally based role in Wollongong.Work in a role that directly contributes to industries that improve the lives of vulnerable Australians in the aged care, disability, and health sectors.Opportunity to grow within a high-impact, entrepreneurial business, with access to professional growth opportunities.A competitive salary package commensurate with experience.Access to company benefits programs and wellness initiatives to support all aspects of your health and wellbeing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
