At Thornton Engineering, we're looking for talented individuals just like you to join our team in Geelong.As one of our spray painters or blasters, you'll be responsible for ensuring our fabricated steel structures and equipment are coated to our high-quality standards.
Reporting to the workshop supervisor, you'll use your expertise to operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment, power tools, and hand tools required to prepare and coat fabricated parts.QualificationsExperienced spray painters with a proven history of quality and successExperienced blasterExperience in airless pumps would be advantageous, but not essentialSkilled in operating blast and paint equipment and toolsCurrent and valid driver's licenseCandidates with a forklift, dogman (DG) and/or high-risk work licenses are encouraged to applyAdditional InformationWhat do you get in return?Positions for day and afternoon shift are availableImmediate start & good onsite work cultureOther benefitsStriving for 'Zero Harm' - safety-based cultureWe supply you with all required PPEWe supply you with all tools you needWe supply you with 5 sets of work clothes including laundry serviceWe're looking for candidates who have demonstrated experience in steel protective coatings, and who take pride in their work.
