This role involves teaching students in junior/middle years and requires the ability to teach Religious Education, supporting the Catholic ethos and faith values of the school.
With a student body of under 500, the school fosters a close-knit, connected environment where collaboration and community are at the forefront.

Key duties: Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum.Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.Teach Catholic teachings, traditions, and practices in alignment with diocesan or school guidelines and approved RE programs.Foster a holistic approach by integrating Catholic values across subjects where appropriate.Guide students in understanding Gospel values, Catholic traditions, and how these relate to their lives and the broader community.Ensure all students, regardless of background, feel valued and supported in exploring their faith.Skills & Experience: Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.Must have a valid and up-to-date VIT registration.Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary in Australia.Experience working with a Catholic school is advantageous.Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).Offering: Join a close-knit team of three educators, collaborating with diverse teaching expertise to create meaningful learning experiences.Inspire and guide students from Years 1 to 6, fostering embedded values, student voice, and agency in a supportive classroom environment.Teach in modern, well-equipped facilities designed to engage and empower learners.Collaborate with an approachable leadership team committed to fostering community engagement and open communication.Enjoy a competitive salary that reflects your dedication, expertise, and contributions to a thriving school community.The School: Teach in a vibrant, community-focused Catholic Primary School supporting approximately 460 students from Foundation to Year 6.Enjoy a dedicated weekly planning day for your team, promoting collaboration and efficient curriculum delivery.Benefit from a supportive learning environment with a Learning Support Officer in every classroom, enhancing teaching and student outcomes.Access professional learning opportunities through dedicated specialists, mentors, and instructional coaches.Receive a salary reflective of your experience, ranging from $78,000 to $116,000, in a school that values innovation, inclusivity, and shared success.Why work with Tradewind?
