Salary: Level 4, $87,712 - $92,057 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing February 2025 The Operational Initiatives branch is responsible for the management and implementation of strategic education programs that support schools and student outcomes.
Typically, these programs involve partnership and liaison with the non-government school sectors, corporate and not-for-profit organisations in Western Australia.
Delivery of support and services to public schools assisting them to implement these programs is a key responsibility of the branch.
The Role As a Data and Information Officer, you will play a key role in supporting data quality and compliance reporting within the Schools group.
Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice on system and process improvements, record-keeping practices, and policies to enhance data accuracy.
You will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across the Department to coordinate data collection, investigate trends, and identify potential issues in complex datasets.
Through your analytical skills, you will produce, validate, and present insightful reports while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
In this role, you will contribute to various operational initiatives by conducting research, preparing briefing notes, and developing data-driven recommendations.
You will also participate in committees and working groups, helping to shape policies and procedures that support integrated service delivery.
Your ability to engage with diverse stakeholders in a culturally responsive manner will ensure effective collaboration and the successful delivery of data-driven solutions.
