The 4.5 star Hotels are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.
This exciting leadership opportunity is overlooking both properties, working closely with the Maintenance Manager.This position is responsible for all maintenance issues within the Hotel to deliver an excellent guest experience while performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating projects.Job DescriptionIdentify and resolve maintenance defects, complete tasks as part of the preventative maintenance program.Committed to promoting sustainability and to encourage the effective use of energy and water.Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to manage relationships with contractors and service providers.Be the main point of contact for any property related maintenance during the absence of the Maintenance Manager.Assist in maintaining the Hotel buildings, budgets, expenses and activity logs and monitor inventory of materials and equipment.Prepare rosters and first level approval of timesheets for the department.QualificationsProven experience in Maintenance with trade experience and skills across multiple buildings; hotel industry experience is essential.In-depth knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.Awareness of energy reporting and how metrics work for effective monitoring and reduction.Understanding and ability to complete administrative processes, understanding departmental costs and creation/implementation of a preventative maintenance plan.Experience working within a Body Corporate environment and being a spokesperson for the company on Maintenance requirements.Familiarity in the use and completion of tasks on Opera and My Bos property management systems.Additional InformationThis role is Full Time Permanent – 40 Hours Per Week - $30 per hourLearn your Way - Access to our Accor Academy so you can Earn while you LearnWork Your Way - Flexibility to ensure a work life balanceBenefits Your Way - Incredible Accor Heartist Benefits - discounted Food & Beverage + Accommodation WorldwideMeal Allowance & parking onsiteAccor's Parental Leave SchemeAccess to our Employee Assistance ProgramOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
