As Lead Educator, you will work with Educators in the Centre, supporting their teaching practice as they grow and excel as professionals.

You will be building meaningful relationships with children and families, ensuring children are supported to be brave, curious, and imaginative in their learning. Lead Educators are a vital link in supporting Educators and Centre Leadership to develop and implement innovative early learning programs that will set children up for formal schooling and beyond.

Our long day care in Collins Street is ideally located for families working or living in Melbourne CBD and in surrounding suburbs near East Melbourne, Carlton, North Melbourne, Southbank, Docklands and Collingwood.
Our Collins Street childcare centre offers:
Quality learning programs such as Joy of Reading, Cooking and Sustainability.Extensive outdoor space for children to explore.On-site Chef providing fresh snacks and meals daily.Highly experienced Educators and degree-qualified Teachers.Nappies, SPF 50+ sunscreen, high-quality formula and bed linen provided.Extended hours of care each weekday from 7.30am to 6.30pm.With a warm, welcoming feel, our Collins St Melbourne CBD child care has a range of resource-rich environments, including a family dining area, simulated outdoor spaces, vibrant gardens, a treehouse and multiple water play areas. These impressive environments encourage children to explore and discover. Our included learning programs provide opportunity for children to develop confidence, independence, self-awareness, and self-worth.
Children attending our Centre will also have the chance to see the same familiar faces as they move on up from our nursery room, into our Collins St Kindergarten Program, designed specifically to help prepare your child to transition from early learning to primary school.

The OpportunityWorking closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Leadership Team, you will enjoy:
Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.Leading and guiding teams in developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.Documenting and sharing with families in their children's learning and development.Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment. To be considered, you will have:A completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards).Prior experience in long day-care.Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.Current Working with Children's Check.
