The role of Community Emergency Services Manager (12 month Parental Leave cover) is committed to providing efficient and professional emergency services to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities : Plan, develop, implement, and manage community emergency services.Administer Emergency Service Levy Operational and Capital Grants.Prepare annual budgets and future works planning.Develop and review relevant policies, local laws, and procedures.Be on-call and attend incidents as required.Qualifications : Strong leadership and management skills.Knowledge of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and relevant legislation.Experience in budget management and grant funding.Excellent communication and time management skills.To Apply We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage people of all abilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people from culturally diverse backgrounds to apply.
