About the role We are searching for a Payroll Officer and Accounts professional to join an outcome driven organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a friendly finance team and have an immediate impact on a values led, team environment.
You will be responsible for: Payroll Responsibility Overseeing and managing end-to-end payroll operations Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements including taxation, superannuation and industrial awards Implement and maintain payroll system improvements to streamline processes Prepare payroll related data for the site budget, including forecasting labor costs, managing payroll expenses and reporting on payroll costs vs budget Ensure Payroll operations meet audit requirements and prepare payroll reports, metrics and KPI's for internal and external stakeholders as needed Accounts Payable Responsibility Process 600-900 invoices per month with high accuracy Assist with the AP administration email accounts Serve as point of contact for suppliers, resolving queries in a timely and professional manner Assist in addressing and rectifying disputes with suppliers Handle onboarding of new suppliers Regularly perform supplier statement reconciliations to ensure account accuracy Process employee expense claims and assist with any related administrative tasks Execute and manage payments runs as required Qualifications and Experience Required Proven experience managing payroll and Accounts Payable Minimum of 2-3 years in Payroll management In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements Strong competency in Payroll software, experience with Pulse Mining systems would be preferred Familiarity with local tax regulations is an asset The successful candidate will enjoy some working from home options, an inclusive leader who will develop your technical skills and knowledge whilst enjoying state of the art offices and a great location.
