Our client, a formidable consulting firm, is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect with microservices experience. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. You will be a part of the very technical and sophisticated Cloud Strategy Team.Key Responsibilities:Architectural Design:Design and implement cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, including the architecture for microservices-based applications.Create detailed architecture designs, including system diagrams, data flows, and deployment models.Microservices Implementation:Develop and deploy microservices architectures using Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Service Fabric.Optimize microservices for scalability, performance, and resilience.Cloud Strategy and Planning:Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.Develop and maintain cloud architecture roadmaps and strategies to support business goals.Security and Compliance:Ensure that cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulations.Implement best practices for cloud security, including identity management, encryption, and access control.Qualifications:Proven experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar role, with a strong focus on microservices architecture.Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Service Fabric, and Azure DevOps.Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in microservices development (e.g., .NET, Java, Node.js).Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and people living with a disability.
