The Workforce Program Manager will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to lead a second phase of an Audiology Regulatory Impact Statement.
The role
We are seeking a Workforce Program Manager with a deep understanding of contemporary health workforce dynamics and state policies relevant to Queensland Health.
This role involves strategically engaging with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement innovative workforce initiatives that enhance service delivery and promote positive health outcomes.
The successful candidate will excel in facilitating effective communication channels, ensuring the successful adoption of change by leveraging feedback mechanisms and fostering relationships built on shared experiences and lessons learned.
In addition to driving strategic workforce initiatives, the Workforce Program Manager will actively cultivate a working environment that supports quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, and ethical behaviour.
Adhering to service quality standards and health and safety policies is paramount, as is the preparation of detailed reporting documentation to inform stakeholders about program performance.
This position calls for a proactive leader who is committed to enhancing workforce management and delivering high-quality, safe services within Queensland Health.
The successful person
The essential requirements for this role are:
Evidenced background in successfully managing and delivering complex projects and business change management activity.
Expertise in applying established project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.
Well-developed leadership and team management skills, and experience in building and sustaining high profile multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve high quality project outcomes within agreed budgets.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal competence, including resilience and a proven ability to lead negotiations, resolve conflict and positively influence and motivate others in a significant environment of reform and change.
Ability to identify and drive process improvement by using evidence to demonstrate the need for change, as well as the being able to communicate how change may be enacted.
Proven issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions and provide expert strategic advice to complex issues.
