Senior Legal Secretary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a well-respected legal practice in the heart of Sydney CBD.
You will be an integral part of a high-performing Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team, collaborating closely with the partners on a diverse range of matters and engaging in high-level secretarial work, where each day brings new and exciting challenges.
The Role Reporting to a partner and closely collaborating with a dynamic Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team, you will have a crucial role in providing high-level secretarial support to partners and fee-earners within the practice group.
Some of your duties will include: File management duties such as word processing and filing Management of confidential firm information Legal matter openings Maintenance and inputting of client data into client relationship software Preparation of legal documents such as correspondence, briefs, and pleadings Calendar, diary, and meeting management Management of the monthly billing processes Engaging and answering queries from clients, colleagues and third parties Other crucial team administration tasks as required.
The Perfect Candidate This role is based in the office and is ideal for someone with at least 4 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant, preferably in a medium to large-sized firm.
Previous experience in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions field will be highly regarded.
You will be a motivated self-starter who possesses the following attributes.
Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook skills Proficient in the use of client relationship software, InterAction or Elite 3E preferred Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exemplary attention to detail and problem-solving skills A willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
