'For Our Future' Campaign Volunteer

We're seeking passionate and driven volunteers to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the For Our Future campaign, our boldest initiative yet. Building on four years of groundwork, this campaign will culminate in February 2025's Month of Action, spotlighting the Wellbeing of Future Generations Private Members Bill and driving nationwide mobilisation for intergenerational fairness.
This is your chance to contribute your skills across communications, content creation, partnerships, advocacy, and research to shape a movement that will inspire long-term change.
Campaign Team Members Will Assist With1 - Strategic ContributionCollaborate on Strategy: Join fortnightly 90-minute calls to align on campaign messaging, key milestones, and impactful outreach strategies.Shape the Campaign: Bring fresh ideas to engage Australians, particularly young people, and inspire action through digital and community channels.Measure Impact: Track the performance of campaign outputs and offer suggestions to maximise reach and engagement.2 - Content Creation & CommunicationsCraft Campaign Content: Write compelling social media posts, blogs, and newsletters to educate, inspire, and mobilise support for the campaign.Amplify Stories: Help bring to life the Portraits of Our Future initiative, sharing the stories of everyday Australians and connecting real human experiences to the policy agenda.Stay On-Brand: Ensure all campaign messaging aligns with FFT's voice, authentic, inspiring, and clear.3 - Social Media & EngagementManage Campaign Platforms: Create, schedule, and manage content for FFT's social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X).Spot Trends: Keep an eye on emerging trends to keep our messaging timely, relevant, and impactful.Build Community: Respond to comments, foster online discussions, and engage directly with campaign supporters.4 - Partnership BuildingStrengthen Connections: Identify opportunities to collaborate with organisations, youth networks, and influencers who share FFT's mission.Amplify Impact: Build relationships that help grow the campaign's visibility and reach new audiences across Australia.Who We're Looking ForPassionate About the Future: You believe in the importance of intergenerational fairness and want to inspire real change.Strong Communicator: Whether you write, design, or engage, you can make complex ideas clear, engaging, and impactful.Collaborative Team Player: You enjoy working with others, take initiative, and contribute innovative ideas.Flexible & Adaptable: You're ready to jump in where needed to help bring this campaign to life.What We OfferReal Impact: Your contributions will directly influence public awareness, policy conversations, and national campaigns like For Our Future.Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience in content creation, campaign strategy, and advocacy.Network Growth: Work alongside passionate changemakers, policy experts, and leaders from across Australia.Flexibility: This is a remote role requiring just 3-5 hours per week, designed to fit around your studies or work commitments.Ready to Make a Difference?If you're excited to use your skills to help shape Australia's future, we'd love to hear from you
As a Campaign Volunteer, you will play a vital role in shaping this movement, connecting people across the country with bold ideas for a fairer, more sustainable future.
