General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)As the General Manager - Branch Network at JB Cameron (Vic) Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the company's branch operations across Victoria. This full-time position is based in Ballarat, VIC 3350, and will see you driving the strategic growth and operational excellence of our branch network.What you'll be doingProviding strategic leadership and direction to the branch management team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and business performance.Developing and implementing operational plans to optimise efficiency, productivity, and profitability across the branch network.Identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities, including the expansion of the branch footprint and diversification of service offerings.Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement.Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and internal policies.Collaborating with the executive team to align branch operations with the overall corporate strategy.Representing the company and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and community partners.What we're looking forSignificant experience (5+ years) in a senior management role within the general/business unit management industry.Proven track record of driving operational excellence and business growth in a multi-site, customer-focused environment.Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex relationships.Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives.Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., business, management, or a related field) are highly desirable.What we offerCompetitive remuneration package, including a base salary, bonus, and other benefits.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the organisation.Collaborative and supportive work environment with a focus on employee well-being.Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.About usJB Cameron (Vic) Pty Ltd is a leading provider of innovative trade solutions in the regional Victorian market.
