About the Company:
Our client, the Oceania subsidiary of a global industry leader, seeks an experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee the sales of standard pumps in the commercial building service and domestic markets.
With a global presence since 1912, they comprise over 116 companies worldwide, boasting a workforce exceeding 19,000 individuals.
Situated in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, they are a well-established entity dedicated to marketing, assembling, and distributing their pumps within the Australian pump market.

About the Role:
Due to an internal restructure, they now seek to employ a National Sales Manager to manage a small but growing external and internal sales team to drive business growth in the pump industry.

Key Responsibilities: Manage external sales team and internal sales team in Sales dept.
Set the objective target, analyze sales data, create sales strategies and execute action plans by leading sales teams.
Build a solid sales team and enlarge the sales organizations in aligned with company directions.
Solve customer disputes and account issues by liaising with relevant departments.
Assist Marketing activities in aligned with company directions.
Target markets: Industrial market, Commercial building service market and Domestic market in pump industries.
Target areas: Australia and New Zealand.
Skills and Experience:
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
Demonstrated sales leadership experience in industrial and allied equipment, preferably with water pumps.
Over 10 years sales experience in B2B of industrial and allied equipment.
The ability to coach, mentor and develop both external and internal sales teams.
A skilled time management (Plan-Do-Check-Action).
Ability to travel interstate, intrastate and overseas.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiar with using ERP system and CRM.
Full working rights in Australia as a permanent resident or a citizen.
