Are you an accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience looking for your next challenge?
Count Gold Coast (Count GC) is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team in Southport on the Gold Coast.
This full-time, in-office role will see you support our clients' financial needs while developing your skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for entities Provide compliance support including FBT, CGT and Div7A Requirements Conducting research and analysis to identify potential tax savings and optimisation opportunities Liaising with clients to understand their unique financial situations and needs Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations Maintaining and developing strong client relationships, working autonomously and within a team.
What we're looking for
Degree in Accounting or Commerce or related field with CA/CPA or studying to get 2+ years of experience in a similar tax and accounting role Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in the use of accounting software like Xero, and using software such as FYI Docs and XPM would be highly regarded Exceptional communication and client service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines, whilst working within a team environment.
