Your new company:
We are currently partnered with a scale-up fintech business currently going through an exciting growth period looking to hire an Information Security Manager to join their business and expand their cyber security team.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Head of Technology, this role has overall responsibility for ensuring their Information Security Policies, Procedures, Tools and Practices are consistent with the organisation's risk tolerances and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
The information security manager will also oversee an ongoing change agenda building on the already established security posture that adapts to emerging threats.
The role is also accountable for managing the Business-as-Usual monitoring and response capabilities that protect the organisation from Information Security threats.
You'll also be responsible for the following:
Lead the incident response team (internal team & MSSP) in case of security event through the phases of triage, analysis, reaction, restore and post-mortem analysis.
Ensure information security is addressed within projects (customer-facing/internal projects) by coordinating the implementation of appropriate (technical and/or organisational) security controls during project delivery.
Be an advocate for security, and uplift the overall security awareness across the organisation by running training sessions, security simulations & assessments, tabletop exercises, etc.
What you'll need to succeed:
7 years + experience within Information Security, with 2 years in a lead or manager role.
Prior experience building/scaling a security team is desirable.
Experience managing security in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Experience in EDR, DLP and email security (Crowdstrike, Exabeam LogRhythm).
Some experience with security and risk-based standards such as ISO2700X, ISO31000, NIST800 and PCI-DSS and other relevant security risk standards and technologies is desirable.
Strong reporting and communication skills to engage executives and key stakeholders in understanding key risks and overall cyber security performance and state of affairs.
Previous experience working in an Agile environment is beneficial.
