Nine Mile is on the lookout for a Fixed Income, Trader to join our electronic principal trading firm. The role:
Nine Mile is searching for a capable Fixed Income Trader to join our Fixed Income Trading Operations based in Sydney. Responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

Formulate Fixed Income trading strategy and execution
Maintain up to date knowledge and insights directly impacting the Fixed Income market
Implementation of algorithmic strategies and associated tools
Research and identify new opportunities
Collaboration with the broader market making team
Proactively engage with regulators, Issuers, Exchanges and Brokers.

What you will bring:

3+ years of relevant trading experience at a High Frequency Trading Firm
Thorough understanding of the Fixed Income landscape
Understanding of required pricing, hedging, and trading principles
A passion for the financial markets
Strong Academic record in Mathematics degree
Strong programming skills
Highly advanced ability in probability and statistics
Highly advanced inductive and deductive reasoning ability
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
