Chandler Macleod is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Officer to support the team at Baiada, Beresfield.
Passionate about producing premium quality poultry products through the Lilydale Free Range and Steggles brands, our client Baiada, have been bringing Australian families together at the dinner table since 1919
Delivering fresh poultry to local retailers and value-adding products to Quick Service Restaurants and food service customers, Baiada are leading the way in the industry through innovation and setting high standards around process and efficiency, which ensures they deliver millions of high quality products every year.
6 month maternity leave position with potential to extend to 12 monthsImmediate start | Full time hours - Monday to FridayBeresfield location | Free onsite parking
About the role:
In your new role of Accounts Payable Officer, you will support the team in:
Maintaining accurate vendor master data using internal systems EFTSURE and SAGELiaising with finance officers and suppliers concerning stock management, and accountsQuerying invoice items from internal and external business finance officersReconciling supplier statementsProcessing a high volume of invoices for specialised suppliersFiling and maintaining supplier recordsChecking and verifying invoices for accuracy
About you:
As an Accounts Payable professional, you will have recent experience processing a high volume of invoices, within a large organisation.
In addition, you will bring:
A detailed understanding of best practice accounts payable principles and processesProficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keepingEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAustralian Citizen or permanent resident of Australia (legally entitled to work in Australia)Different area of Accounts Payable
