Beyond work, you can enjoy a vibrant local community with parks, cafés, and restaurants, providing the perfect balance between a dynamic career and a fulfilling personal life.This role may also be required to work out of St George Hospital, Kogarah from time to time.What you'll be doingThe Research Ethics and Governance Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of all research activities within SESLHD.
This includes undertaking comprehensive governance responsibilities, such as conducting detailed Site-Specific Assessments (SSA) to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and alignment of proposed research projects with organisational and regulatory requirements.Additionally, the officer provides vital ethics review and administrative support to the SESLHD Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC).
This involves coordinating ethics submissions, facilitating thorough reviews of research proposals, and ensuring decisions are communicated effectively to stakeholders.
