Applicants must hold one of these clearances. Job details: Our Federal Government client located in Russell ACT, is looking for multiple Project Managers to lead ICT infrastructure and capability projects.
ASD is seeking highly organised and dynamic Project Managers with exceptional communication skills and a strong focus on outcomes to oversee the planning and implementation of complex ICT infrastructure and capability projects, with expertise in procurement and finance.
Key duties and responsibilities: Take full responsibility for leading and managing activities for planning, development and implementation of projects and systems to meet organisational requirementsAdvise and ensure improvement and enhancement of organisational project methodologiesLead and manage capability lifecycles of systems development or enhancementsPlan, initiate and manage procurements to support program and organisational requirementsLead and manage large stakeholder groups focused on business outcomesLead and manage project review and reporting mechanisms; project financial management; change control and quality reportingCoordinate project resourcing according to prioritiesIdentify and manage project/program risks and issuesTechnical skills: Formal qualifications in Project Management; procurement; finance
About the organisation: The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) is a statutory agency in the Defence portfolio that defends Australia against global threats and advances our national interests through the provision of foreign signals intelligence, cyber security and offensive cyber operations as directed by the Australian Government.
Candidates must be willing to undergo ASD's Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
An OSA is a policy requirement and is conducted to determine a person's suitability to work for ASD.
It requires a psychological assessment, involving a questionnaire and interview.
