Join Destination NSW as the Associate Director, PR Campaigns and Events and lead the creation of impactful public relations strategies that showcase the best of Sydney and NSW.
In this dynamic role, you will spearhead PR campaigns, media relations, influencer outreach, and promotional activities to drive awareness and visitation to our vibrant destinations and events.
Overseeing a high-performing team, you will foster collaboration and innovation to deliver exceptional results across domestic and international markets.
Your expertise will shape strategic initiatives, elevate our brand, and contribute to achieving the Visitor Economy Strategy targets.
About You
You are a seasoned public relations professional with extensive experience in media strategy, issues management, and stakeholder engagement within the tourism and travel industry.
You bring strong knowledge of Australia's tourism market and a proven ability to secure impactful media coverage both domestically and internationally.
With established professional networks and a strategic mindset, you excel at identifying unique opportunities to elevate media profiles and create compelling public relations campaigns.
Your collaborative approach and experience navigating complex stakeholder environments make you adept at balancing priorities and delivering results in politically sensitive contexts.
A tertiary qualification in communications or equivalent expertise is essential for this role.
