Due to rapid growth, we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Support Workers.
The RoleUsing a person-centered and active support approach, a Disability Support Worker will work as part of a team to provide support services to people with disabilities.
The Disability Support Worker will work with a range of plans for each client, such as an individual Support Plan, Health Care Plan, Medication Plan, Meal Plan, Manual Handling Plan, and will work within the rhythm of service for each house.
Main Duties:Follow participants support plansEnsure a participant-centered approach is maintainedMaintain professional and effective interactions with team and all stakeholdersFulfil compliance and training requirementsMust be prepared to work over a 24/7 roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepoversSkills and Essential RequirementsMinimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or other equivalent qualificationNDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children CheckCurrent First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 & HLTAID001)Manual Handling CertificateAssist with medication CertificateDriver's LicenseMust have a carMust have the Right to work in AustraliaBenefitsSupportive, inclusive and team-oriented work environmentCareer advancement opportunities in a growing organizationContinuous professional development and training opportunities.Apply For Job
