About the role
Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities?
Help Aid Support Services' is seeking a casual NDIS Disability FEMALE Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Gilles Plains, SA.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to enable our clients to live independently and actively participate in their community.
What you'll be doing
Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, and community access
Facilitate engagement in social, recreational, and educational activities
Provide compassionate and person-centered care, respecting client's unique needs and preferences
Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and NDIS guidelines
What we're looking for
A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
Experience in providing direct support to individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, Autism and behavior management.
Previous experience with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills in English, along with strong interpersonal abilities, enabling the development of trust and rapport with clients
Willingness to work a range of shifts, including passive overnight, weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
A current First Aid certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
