Casual Airport Reporting Officer / Refueller / UtilityMungalalu North Kimberley Airport is based on the Anjo Peninsular in the Kimberley.
The airport has a 120-room camp, with a number of permanent and semi-permanent residents.
We provide airfield services to the oil and gas industry and government, with helicopter companies permanently based at the airport.
Flights Darwin to the airport are provided along with accommodation in ensuited rooms.
WiFi is available throughout the camp for residents.
This is a utility role which will see your day to day activities ranging from aircraft ground handling and refuelling, to earthworks and airport maintenance activities, to the loading and unloading of the fortnightly supply barge.
No two days are the same and we are looking for people with a 'can do' attitude that are happy to get in and get the job done.
We are looking for Darwin based applicants.
This will be offered as a Casual role initially, with the potential for full time employment.
Qualifications & experience Current Airport Reporting Officer Qualification (or ability to obtain one)Current Aeronautical Radio Licence (or ability to obtain)Hold current HC Driver licence or able to obtainAbility to operate plant and equipmentMust be computer literate as this position is required to act in the capacity of Base Manager from time to timeSpecific trade experience would be desirableTasks & responsibilities Aerodrome and grounds maintenance activitiesConduct Aerodrome inspections in accordance with CASA's MOS139Assist in dispatch and receipt of freight from aircraft and bargesAssist in re-fuelling of aircraft as required and ensure that fuel QA is applied to fuel storage and dispensingGeneral maintenance of plant, equipment and infrastructureOther duties as directed by management associated with the efficient operations of a remote airport and campThis is currently a three week on three week off roster, preferably rotating from Darwin.All flights, meals and accommodation provided.Small, close knit team creating a friendly environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
