Position: Quality Engineer (With HSE Experience) - Steel-Work/Machinery (Gul Circle)Location: Gul CircleWorking hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5:15pmSalary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5000 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave (Up to 21)Duration: PermanentIndustry: Material Handling Equipment SupplierMain Responsibilities: Support gaining and maintaining ISO certification and other relevant certificationsAssist in quality and HSE auditing in Singapore and AustraliaInvestigate incidents and product nonconformity to identify causes and prevention methodsEnsure quality procedures are adhered to throughout the organizationConduct quality checks and inspections on manufacturing and installation processesSupport and promote the company's incident reporting and management systemIdentify and minimize exposure to risks and hazardsCoordinate with the business on training and dialogue sessions with customers, contractors, and suppliersParticipate in HSE committee meetings and implement HSE procedures and standardsEnsure compliance with laws and regulations related to product safety and qualitySubmit monthly quality reports, including data on notifications, workflow, and cost impactChair monthly QIP meetings and monitor notificationsProvide guidance to the business on HSE and QMS expertiseTrain and mentor technicians and quality assurance team members on system aspectsControl system documentation and procedures for Southeast Asia, including AustraliaAct as secretary for monthly quality meetingsPerform other quality and HSE tasks as directedRequirements: Qualification in Engineering, Safety, Quality or equivalentMinimum of 2 years or more working experience in QA/QC in a manufacturing (steel-work related / machinery) environmentMinimum of 2 years or more working experience in managing HSE programs in Industrial or manufacturing environment with experience in construction industry is desirable.Email to: or call me at: 6398 5682 for more information.
