About the Role Working in the Projects shutdown team, an opportunity exists for a dynamic & skilled project engineer to demonstrate their skills and to continue to grow with the Field Mining Services (FMS) Group.
Taking ownership of the project, this position will look to follow the project from initial tendering all the way through to project closeout.
Join our fast-paced & high-performing team where you'll really partner with the business to achieve outstanding results.
You will be responsible for : Providing onsite Project Engineering support including cost control, Gantt updates, QA management, and technical engineering support.Providing office-based (Mackay) Project Engineering support including quoting, tendering, building Gantt charts, pad layouts, lift planning, and technical engineering support.Contributing to winning & successfully executing projects.About You Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Project Engineering experience & a desire to build your skills in the project space.Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.Ability to demonstrate conceptual, analytical, and collaborative skills including the ability to solve complex problems.Well-developed computer skills including the use of word processing, MS Project, and spreadsheets.Solid interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.About Us Field Mining Services Group supplies qualified trade labour and specialist maintenance solutions to mine sites throughout Australasia.
