About the Opportunity In this role, you will work within the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Counselling Service to provide specialist services and senior clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team providing specialist trauma-informed counselling and case management for women impacted by domestic violence to increase safety, well-being, and access to services.
Ideal Candidate Holds one of the following:Social Worker: Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of AASW with experience at Level 2 or higher.Sexual Assault Worker: Minimum bachelor degree in a relevant field such as Counselling or other equivalent qualification.Senior Psychologist: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and full registration with AHPRA, with a minimum of one year at the 9th year of service on the salary scale for Psychologist.Clinical Psychologist: Registered psychologist with AHPRA with postgraduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, Doctorate, or PhD) and endorsement in Clinical Psychology or working towards the same.Available to participate in the Sexual Assault Counselling Service After Hours on-call roster every month and capable of being at the RPA Hospital within 1 hour of being called in.Holds a current NSW drivers licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable) (desirable).Being female is recognised as a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under section 31(2h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
