About TX Australia: TX Australia is a communications infrastructure business that owns, operates, and maintains digital television and radio transmission facilities in the five metro markets in Australia.
Clients include all major television and radio broadcasters.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: As the Group Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our business' data, computer systems, and networks.
You'll play a vital role in safeguarding our company from cyber-attacks, identifying and mitigating cyber threats, and implementing security solutions that protect our organization.
You'll provide valuable security guidance, incident response, and enforce security best practices across the Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Group Head of IT & Cybersecurity Transformation in the delivery of the Cyber Security roadmap in accordance with timeframes and budget.Assess and advise the Group Head of IT & Cybersecurity Transformation on the current state of security across all NPC Media assets.Assist in the coordination and development of security design, architecture, and security policies, principles, and standards, working with IT and business stakeholders to develop strategies and plans to enforce security requirements to mitigate identified risks.Design, configure, and maintain security technologies, tools, processes, dashboards, and reporting, and monitor their effectiveness.Collaborate with other technical resources to gather requirements and implement security solutions that meet the needs of our organization.Constantly strive to identify vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and applications.Generate vulnerability assessment reports and provide guidance for mitigation strategies.Plan and develop security plans for the company's infrastructure.Appropriately respond to security breaches and conduct forensic analysis of security incidents to determine the cause and extent of the breach.Oversee disaster recovery and system outage strategies to ensure business continuity.Work alongside associated stakeholders to ensure optimum security levels at all times.Report to members of senior management on potential threats, proposed improvements, and ongoing security issues.Act as an accountable individual driving success, adoption, and transparency of cybersecurity across the organization.POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Essential Experience & Skills: At least three years' experience in a Cybersecurity Engineer, Security Analyst, or similar role.Strong understanding of information security best practices and standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST 800-53.Knowledge of computer networks, solutions, and operating systems, including strong understanding of network protocols.A broad understanding of security technologies including firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus software, and IDPs.Experience with penetration testing, network security, vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, and the techniques used to expose and correct security risks.Display an affinity with computer languages such as Python, Ruby, Node, or Power Shell.The ability to identify and spotlight vulnerabilities with on-premises and remote networks, correct problems, and prevent security breaches.Knowledge of current and emerging cyber threats.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Relevant industry qualifications required (CompTIA Security+ is highly regarded). #J-18808-Ljbffr
