Responsible for Regional procurement spend of approx EUR250K Preferred location - Matraville, Sydney Australia Local Australian contract and salary package Reports to Global Head of Procurement with dotted line to Regional Head of Finance, EBP APAC. Must have work rights in an APAC country, preferably Australia. What you'll doThe Regional Head of Procurement - APAC will spearhead the development and implementation of procurement strategies for the APAC region.
This role encompasses leading the regional and local teams, initiating and executing cost-efficiency projects, and supporting operational requirements.
Additionally, it involves managing the procurement process and supply base efficiently and effectively, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and developing integrated Procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and sustainability objectives.
What you'll bringTertiary qualified or Graduate preferably in Business, Economics or EngineeringAn MBA or similar would be highly regarded8-10 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a large company within the APAC region4-6 years of professional experience in project management and/or consultingAbility to provide others with a clear direction and set appropriate standards of behaviourInspiring leadership skills and motivates and empowers othersStrong people development and coaching skillsA passion for encouraging organisational and individual responsibility towards the community and environmentKeeps up to date with competitor information and market trendsAbility to identify business opportunities and demonstrates financial awarenessExceptional communication and interpersonal skills at a senior executive levelOur Teammate Perks
