Site Supervisor - Volume Home Builder - South East MelbourneMarket leading and highly competitive salary package on offerGenuine career progression opportunities and growthFully supportive company culture that promotes teamwork and collaborationThe Company:Our client is an award-winning and highly established home building company in Melbourne's South East and due to continued growth into 2025 are now looking to hire an experienced volume home building construction supervisor to join their busy construction team in Melbourne's busy South-Eastern suburbs.Examples of potential suburbs you might manage in the South-East include Cranbourne, Clyde, Langwarrin and Berwick.
The company always aims to keep its site supervisors in areas as close to home as possible to reduce travel time and provide a better work-life balance.Key Responsibilities of the Role:Manage several new home builds in construction concurrently.Up to on average 12-15 houses in construction at any one time on averageA combination of mostly single and some double-storey homesAllocate materials and trades to job sites.Ensure timely construction of new homes within budgetEffectively communicates professionally with clients, trades and management.New home construction is carried out safely and complies with company processes and procedures.Inspecting completed projects to ensure a high standard of qualityMaintaining and updating company systemsReporting to management regarding onsite activityNegotiating with subcontractors and coordinating onsite worksIdentifying and resolving problems throughout the construction process.Role Requirements:At least 5 years experience as a Construction Site Supervisor within the volume home building industry.Experienced with KDRB (Knockdown Rebuild) projectsTertiary qualifications in building and constructionTrade background will be highly advantageousDemonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledgeAbility to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detailStrong communication skills both written and verbalAbility to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.Proven track record of problem-solvingTeam playerExcellent IT skills and computer literacy with construction-specific software packages.Commitment to WHS principles and practicesThe key benefits for you:Market-leading and highly competitive salary package on offer (based on experience)Working within a very supportive and collaborative team environment from office through to the site.An excellent company culture that promotes teamwork and collaborationGenuine career progression opportunities and growthContinued on the job training and developmentClose-knit teamHow to Apply:Via the Seek Website: Submit your updated resume using the 'Apply for this job' button at the top of this page and continue to follow the on-screen instructions.Via Smartphone/Seek App: Submit your updated resume using the 'Quick Apply' button at the bottom of your telephone screen and follow the on-screen instructions.For any enquiries please feel free to call: or text with reference number 'SESS1' alongside your full name, current company, and number of years of site supervisory experience.All applications will be kept in the strictest confidence and will not be forwarded as an application to our client without your prior approval first.To be considered for this full-time position, you MUST be eligible to work in Australia with no work restrictions.Please be advised that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
