We're investing in and developing large-scale renewables and storage projects as part of our ongoing effort to provide our customers with reliable, affordable and sustainable energy.About the roleWe are seeking an analytical and commercially minded Pricing Strategy Analyst to support the development and implementation of national pricing strategy across our retail business. The role plays a pivotal role in balancing financial and market objectives of the business. You will be responsible for updating and quantifying changes in key cost elements, analysing complex data sets, providing insights into competitor and customer behaviours, and utilising and maintaining commercial pricing tools to implement price changes and market offers.What you'll doProvide analytical support and insights to stakeholders across the businessConduct detailed analysis on market changes related to costs, competitors, legislation and policy, and provide financial modelling to support strategic pricing decisions and margin optimisationUtilise and maintain commercial pricing tools to prepare pricing changes across the national customer baseBuild and maintain commercial dashboard reports showing market trends and performance metrics whilst identifying opportunities for pricing and product improvementsYour experienceDegree qualification in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or another numeric discipline coupled with a strong understanding of accounting, finance, and legal principlesDemonstrated experience handling large data sets in Excel (or equivalent) with strong analytical skillsProven experience in business case evaluations and financial modelling, with strong commercial acumenExcellent presentation and communication skills and high attention to detailProficiency with analytical and reporting tools (Advanced Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Tableau, Python) would be highly advantageousIf you're passionate about uncovering insights, and driving commercial and strategic outcomes, we want to hear from youLike what you're seeing?If you like the sound of this, and you've got experience in a similar role, we'd love to talk to you.
