About the location: Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is located at the epicentre of the historic Rocks district, sparkling Harbour and buzzing CBD. Chic rooms and suites embrace the iconic attractions just steps away, while the award-winning restaurant and street front bar are destinations unto themselves.
About the role: Maintenance of this luxury hotel is conducted 24 hours per day, 7 days a week and our expert team of Maintenance Technicians ensure the hotel is kept in perfect condition and our guests' needs are met at any hour of the day or night. In this overnight position, we are looking for a night owl who enjoys working in a professional environment, has great customer service skills, high operating standards, and enjoys being "hands on" by utilising their exceptional eye for detail.
What you will do: Completion of all engineering shift tasks necessary to maintain the property in an efficient condition, in order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and employees.Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with contractors and suppliers who will furnish reliable 24 hour emergency service as necessary.Ensure proper execution of work order systems and that items are followed up on for completion.Work cohesively with the Rooms and Food & Beverage Divisions to maintain our guest rooms, Food & Beverage outlets and public areas, to the highest levels of quality and functionality.Preventative maintenance duties that are conducted on the overnight shift including machine down time.What you will bring: Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician being solid across all technical areas, preferably within a large hotel that delivers five star quality.Mechanical/Electrical experience is required.The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels, across all areas, including contractors, suppliers, guests and of course our employees.A passion for providing a great guest experience and impeccable product.Solid verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.Strong multi-tasking ability.A keen desire to work permanent overnight shifts from 11pm - 7am, 5 days per week.What we offer: Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.Excellent Training and Development opportunities.Complimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms.Complimentary Employee Meals.If you fit the above criteria, we look forward to receiving your application
