About The Role A fantastic opportunity has opened at Stantec for a Senior Project Manager (Engineering) to join the Energy & Resources team.
Working from our refurbished Perth CBD office, you will form an integral part of the Leadership group.
As a Senior Project Manager (Engineering), you will be reporting directly to the PM Lead and be responsible for the following day to day activities:
Support projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management.Spearheading project delivery by providing management skills to ensure the end products meet client and stakeholder expectations.Focal point for team collaboration and team management.Assist in reviewing and negotiating contracts, and reviewing executed contracts to verify timeframes, milestones, procedures and budgets to achieve project outcomes.Managing adequate resource allocation to ensure project delivery meets the required program milestones.Managing the project in accordance with the agreed contract conditions.Coordinating the engagement of subconsultants and subcontractors for contributions to project delivery.Reviewing and developing work procedures to improve operations or to solve problems related to quality.Complying with project controls including, project scheduling to demonstrate delay and disruption, monitoring and reporting progress, cost and productivity, project cost forecasting and management of changes to the scope of work.Maintain and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.What We Offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.Genuine flexible working arrangements - including work from home opportunities.Option to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave.Mentoring for your own development and the opportunity to mentor others.A friendly team environment, with dedicated and enthusiastic staff committed to producing high quality service and deliverables.Recently refurbished offices in latest designs - including full kitchen, coffee machines & recreation areas.Active social club with regular activities Friday after-work social drinks and pizza evenings.Public transport at the front door of offices End-of-journey facilities - secure bike, eScooter w/charging points, showers & lockers.Included Salary Continuance Insurance (SCI).Mental Health and Wellbeing Programs.Employee Assistance Program.At Stantec we have created a workplace where people are respected and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Qualifications To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project management or relevant technical qualification is desirable.Ideally you should have 15 years of experience.Previous success in delivering multiple/concurrent Sustaining Capital projects, undertaking day to day project coordination, development and execution of projects plans and programming.Ability to deliver and manage stakeholders in a complex environment, be accountable for client satisfaction by supporting the project team.Experience in project programming and critical path analysis by implementing strategies which address program, delivery, design risks and ensure the most appropriate standards and requirements are developed and implemented.Advanced commercial acumen in managing resources and budgets.Strong verbal, written communication skills and an ability to motivate others.Experience in multiple commodities such as iron ore and battery minerals.Experience in multiple areas of the supply chain from Pit to Port.Primary Location: Australia-Western Australia-Perth
