Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training) This Middle Leader: Humanities (Tier 2c) is a substantive role for the remainder of the 2024-2026 triennium, with an underlying full-time continuing teaching position.
This successful applicant will be a member of our dynamic Middle Leader Team who have an innovative approach to learning and teaching.
They will demonstrate a commitment to the education of young women and the Co-Curricular life of the College and will work in partnership with colleagues, students, and parents/carers.
They must possess an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices and possess a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA processes. Applicants should upload their CV and include a covering letter outlining their suitability for this position. About the role: Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies, and practices.Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy.Assess, provide feedback, and report on student learning.Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school.Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.About you: Strong literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum.Commitment to child safety.Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.Proven organisational skills.Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes.Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration.Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.Closing Date: 10-Nov-2024 We are committed to making reasonable adjustments to provide a positive, barrier-free recruitment process.
