Sunbury Downs College is a vibrant Year 7 to 12 co-educational secondary college situated in the semi-rural area of Sunbury.
It has a student enrolment of around 650 and offers a rich educational experience with excellent outcomes, high expectations, and strong student management.The College emphasizes core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, and Physical Education, along with programs in the Arts/Technology, Performing Arts, Health, and Languages (Italian).

This position may attract an incentive payment of $5,650 (pre-tax) for eligible candidates.Role - Graduates
The primary focus of the range 1 classroom teacher is to develop skills and competencies to become an effective classroom practitioner with structured support.
Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes.Range 1 teachers are accountable for effective program delivery and may supervise student teachers.
They participate in school policy development and assist in implementing school priorities.New entrants will plan and teach student groups and engage in professional learning activities.Responsibilities - Graduates
Core responsibilities include:Planning and implementing teaching programs or courses of study.Teaching curriculum to a year level.Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress.Implementing strategies to achieve student learning outcomes.Maintaining attendance records and documenting student progress.Implementing effective student management consistent with the school charter.Working with a mentor for professional development planning.Additional responsibilities may include:Supervising student activities including support and welfare programs.Contributing to co-curricular programs.Who May Apply - Graduates
