Manager, Specialist Medical Practice

$100,000 – $110,000 per year dependent on experience.
Deakin Physicians is a small mixed endocrinology and oncology practice in Deakin.
We are seeking an experienced practice manager to replace our current practice manager, who recently departed after more than 20 years of tenure.
The successful candidate will oversee our welcoming team, alongside an experienced assistant manager on either a part-time or full-time basis.
We are looking for an individual dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical and administrative staff in achieving this goal.
About the roleIf you are a reliable, professional and proactive person with attention to detail, we offer a position that includes a hands-on approach, working with the team to manage patient appointments, billing, enquiries and correspondence to a high standard of service.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of our small business.
What you'll be doingCoordinating schedules of practitioners and staff.Team leadership – recruitment, training and management of small team.Financial management and accounting support, including payroll, procurement, taxation and completion of monthly financials using Xero.Monitoring of supplies – ensuring clinical and stationery supplies are adequately stocked.Maintenance of medical records in accordance with appropriate regulations.Ensuring patient care is delivered at a high level of excellence.What we're looking forSignificant experience in a management or senior administrative role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a specialist medical practice.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of clinical and administrative staff.Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, reporting and cost control.Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, policies and accreditation requirements.Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.What we offerCompetitive salary package for suitably qualified candidate.Flexible working arrangements within clinic requirements.Work alongside an experienced assistant manager.Opportunities for further training and personal development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
