Senior Civil Project Engineer

Full timeWith over 30 years of cutting-edge experience in successfully providing complex engineering solutions to a wide range of clients and market sectors, Workfast has partnered with an international contractor that enables them to offer a targeted contract solution for all tunnelling projects.

A dedicated and experienced civil site engineer is needed to join the team, as a result of the ongoing expansion and pursuit of continuous improvement across their Australian business.Key Responsibilities:

Track progress and performance relative to the project plan, resolving concerns promptly to mitigate risks and delays.In addition to creating and enforcing project controls, specifications, timetables, and cost estimates, oversee cost performance in accordance with the plan.Coordinate design efforts, manage stakeholder contacts, and support the administration of geotechnical site investigations.Make sure that every task complies with operational and quality requirements, and stays within the project's scope.In order to promote productive communication and teamwork, interact with clients and cultivate a positive rapport.About You:

General safety induction card (white card)Full Australian working rightsTertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields and 5+ years experience within the fieldPrior tunnelling experience

will be highly regardedUnderstanding of the construction industry and modern construction techniques.Strong written and oral communication skills.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.Ability to work effectively in a team environmentHappy to travel for work from time to time (site to site)About Us:
