The Opportunity

The Functional Consultant works with various key stakeholders to deliver PA (IBM Planning Analytics) functionality.
This role will require the candidate to design, build and maintain PA solutions to support critical business processes.

What you'll do:

Ability to estimate the work and take part in discussions around sizing, and active involvement in Solution Design Forum.
Definition, Creation, Unit Testing and UAT execution on existing business requirements.
Ensure fit-for-purpose system testing and user acceptance tests are conducted on sprint deliverables, to ensure product quality.
Design, develop, and maintain PA cubes, dimensions, rules, and processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve PA application issues, whilst staying abreast of the latest PA features and functionalities.
Ensure adherence to Agile development methodology for development and change management process to release into Production.

What you'll bring:

Deep understanding of IT processes, preferably within a large scale organisation.
Circa 10+ years working with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1.
Experience in understanding overall strategic solution design and reducing technical debt.
Experience in Business Process & IT Systems.
Knowledge and experience with Agile, Scrum with Kanban ways of working.
Ability to estimate work and liaise with Functional leads/Solution architects in other streams of work.
