At Andersen, we're seeking a Private Client Business Services Manager to join our Melbourne office.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Partners to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, privately owned businesses, trusts, and family groups.
You'll be responsible for delivering innovative solutions that align with our clients' goals while developing and mentoring a team of emerging professionals.
Your RoleAs the Manager – Private Client Business Services, you'll:
Manage a portfolio of key clients, delivering tailored tax and business advisory solutions.Prepare and review tax compliance, financial statements, and strategic planning for clients across various industries.Collaborate with Partners to provide complex tax advice on restructures, Capital Gains Tax, Division 7A, and other key areas.Offer guidance on family governance, estate planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer.Proficiency in self-managed superannuation structuring and advice.Oversee and provide Virtual CFO services for key clients, helping them streamline financial processes and achieve growth.Evaluate Div 7A implications of company accounts and prepare loan repayments.Provide strategic planning and tax projections for year-end planning and proactive client support.Oversee outsourcing needs for compliance work, and preparation of FBT returns, Payroll Tax returns, and BAS.Liaise with the ATO and regulatory authorities on behalf of clients to ensure compliance and risk management.Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Innovate and develop efficiency improvements to drive growth in the practice.About YouYou are an experienced professional with a background in private client services, business advisory, or tax consulting.
You possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving complex client issues.
Your qualifications and experience include:
A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business.4+ years of experience working in private client services, business advisory, or tax within a Big 4, second-tier firm, or specialised private firm.Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and private client services.Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.A collaborative mindset and experience in leading and mentoring teams.Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, BGL, CAS 360, and Microsoft Office suite.How to ApplyIf this sounds like the opportunity you've been looking for, please submit your application, including your resume and cover letter, on our website career
