Irribiz, a division of ICI Industries Pty Ltd, is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to be based in our Head Office in Griffith NSW.
Irribiz is a leading, Australian-owned family business with strong values, operating across five states of Australia.
We supply and install products and services to the agricultural, horticultural, hydroponic, and irrigation industries.
Our focus is to provide solutions in efficient water delivery and management across both open field irrigation and commercial greenhouses.
Our team of dedicated staff works across a range of disciplines including sales, design, installation, project management, and service and maintenance.
Job DescriptionWe use AP automation software, so this is not a data entry role.
We are looking for someone who can oversee, take control of the process, and reconcile the supplier ledger.
Reporting to the Group Accountant, the Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for:
Managing the flow of invoices into the AP automation software;Following up outstanding items in the AP automation system to ensure transactions are posted in a timely fashion;Entering manual supplier invoices into Pronto, including foreign currency and forwarding agent invoices;Reconciling supplier statements monthly and following up on differences;Preparing supporting documentation and paying suppliers within payment terms;Assisting with telephone answering and other ad hoc admin duties.The successful candidate will have:
An understanding of the relationship of purchase orders to supplier invoices;Excellent reconciliation skills;An interest in and affinity for using IT applications;Intermediate to advanced Excel capability;Strong attention to detail.We offer:
