The Senior 2D Designer & Animator Artist will report directly to the Emerging Technologies Lead.
In this role, you'll play a key part in elevating our 2D art, animation, and UI designs to create engaging and impactful training materials.
You will work collaboratively with designers, developers, and stakeholders to produce high-quality assets that align with project goals and user needs.
You will contribute to defining visual styles, creating animations, and developing user interface elements while ensuring they are optimised for interactive applications.
Your expertise in 2D animation, graphic art, and UI design will be instrumental in enhancing the clarity and effectiveness of our training tools.
Additionally, you will help source design inspiration and feedback, refine workflows to meet best practices in 2D design and animation, and stay informed on emerging tools and techniques.
You'll also provide valuable input on creative direction, asset standards, and processes to streamline production and maintain consistency across projects.
Requirements: * Design and Animation: o Create high-quality 2D artwork, illustrations, and animations for AI and XR related training materials and educational content.
o Develop assets that align with the visual standards of interactive AI and XR applications, including character designs, environments, and user interfaces (UI).
o Design visuals and animations that complement AI-powered interactive systems, ensuring clarity and engagement for end users.
o Collaborate with AI and XR developers to enhance visual elements and animations that support machine-learning-driven educational experiences.
* Asset Creation: o Produce optimised 2D assets compatible with Unity for traditional training materials.
o Produce optimised 2D assets compatible with web based application technologies.
o Maintain a cohesive design language across all assets while adapting to evolving project needs.
* Interactive Animation: o Create 2D animations, including character rigging, motion cycles, UI transitions, and AI-responsive visual cues.
o Enhance the interactivity of training materials by integrating animations into AI systems.
