Business Support Officer - Mater MothersApply now Job no: 502187Work type: PermanentLocation: South BrisbaneCategories: AdministrationAbout the roleThe Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their team supporting the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a maximum term, 3.5 month contract 38 hours per week.Key Responsibilities:Assist with preparation of correspondence and distributionCoordination of jobs including follow up outstanding requestsLodgement of recruitment requests in Page UpUpdating Kronos with shifts, sick leave, on call, leave requests, etc.Work collaboratively with admin team members to provide office supportAbout youTo be successful in this role you will meet the following:Maintain a high level of confidentiality of both personal and financial information within the businessMaintain up-to-date knowledge on procedures and policies of the work areaEnsure effective, accurate and timely communication with staff and clients, communicating with professionalism, sensitivity, and discretionExercise judgement and initiative within defined procedures, precedents, guidelines, and instructionsMaintain a safe working environment complying with Workplace Health and Safety and anti-discrimination policiesSupport and assist other team members within the business as requiredComply with and adhere to Mater Health Services and the private practice policies, procedures, standards, and legislation relevant to the role and business unitAbout MaterMater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
