About the RoleThis is a Fixed Term Position until 31st December 2025. In this role you will undertake a variety of road maintenance and civil construction activities including network inspections and hazard and defect rectification works and perform manual labour-intensive tasks in accordance with established safety, environmental and quality procedures.
After hours Emergency response capabilities and overtime are requirements of this role, and opportunities may be available to travel within the state to assist with broader Emergency responses.
Whilst this role is primarily based in the Grampians Region at Wendouree Depot, you may be occasionally required to work from other locations across the state of Victoria based on the operational needs of the broader SRS business.
The standard hours for this position are 7.30am to 4.00pm.
There may occasionally be a requirement to work overtime outside these hours, work away from home for periods of time, and attend after hours call outs as required.
Accountabilities You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:
