The Role
Actively recruiting General Medicine Advanced Trainee for a February 2025 start.
Each medical team has a subspecialty interest (Med A – Gastroenterology, Med B – Neurology/Renal, Med C – Respiratory, Med D – Endocrinology). There will also be exposure to undifferentiated acute medicine with the Acute Medical Unit. Some weekend work providing senior supervision and ward rounds, with consultant support, will be required and will be rostered in accordance with the EBA. The Location

The Hospital
This role offers the successful candidate a broad array of learning opportunities. Daily consultant-led ward rounds are conducted, with the expectation that the Advanced Trainee will lead some of these rounds under consultant supervision appropriate to their level of competence.
The Advanced Trainee will also be scheduled to participate in specialist outpatient clinics, tailored to meet their training requirements. These clinics may include Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Neurology, Peri-operative Medicine, and Respiratory care. Essential Requirements
MBBS or equivalent Current AHPRA Registration (General Registration) Member of the RACP, and are eligible to progress to an AT position How to Apply
